"Ways of Seeing" Inequality

I am not sure whether Bob Sutcliffe intentionally played off the title of John Berger's Ways of Seeing when he chose his own, but it seems likely. This is a provocative little book, consisting of not 100 but of 123 pages of graphics with facing text. The presentation is understated throughout, as Sutcliffe aims to prompt the reader to think with the graphics. He explicitly acknowledges his debt to the work of Ed Tufte - about which I have posted here and here. I will not draw the connections to those earlier posts since they seem self-evident. That said, I think this is a terrific resource for teaching and arguing about crucially importanat political-economic matters.
