If You Suspect It ...

I discovered this poster on here at the site of the London Metropolitan Police. Evidently, taking pictures can be dangerous to your freedom. Just don't look suspicious or odd while taking pictures. Of course, the Brits love their CCTV surveillance too. So, there are lots of camera politics going on.

Not directly related to your post, but cannot take my mind off this one since I read it in the morning. Taking pictures may take lives too, let alone freedoms...

You're wasting your time, Ayda. Jimbo, here, doesn't care about the atrocities and flagrant human rights violations committed by non-Westerners. He, like the rest of the loony academic leftists, have made their career criticizing and equating the U.S. govt with Nazis. Notice, for example, his silence on the despicable Myanmar Junta's response to the epic cyclone. Not a peep! Oh, but he'll be the first to label the American govt as Nazis and racists when it comes to Katrina. Give me a break! This guy is a huge hack, not to mention epic hypocrite.

Anon, You really are a complete idiot. Please go through, starting at the beginning of the blog, and try to find even one single place where I "equate" the US government with "Nazis". Guess what? You won't find any. You are too busy "arguing" against your own pathetic stereotypes and prejudices. If you don't know what you're talking about just shut up. Thanks.

Thx Anon for the kind warning about Jimbo... Being a woman from that part of the world I really felt at home you telling me what to do and what not to do, otherwise I would not be able to figure out myself what this whole blog is about -I'll pray day and night for this gracious moment of enlightenment. By the way, FYI, when we start paying 10 bucks for a gallon of milk I may perhaps start making comparisons with Third Reich -cause chances are, that sort of hyperinflation will require company (read it dead civilians in one corner of the world for no other reason than imperial mismanagement and agression)

The Chinese govt is also embracing surveillance technology. I just came back from a business trip in Shenzen, the border city to Hong Kong, where I spotted hidden cameras everywhere. It's really creepy stuff.
